Discussion on Domestic Education Thought in “the Yan Domestic Instructions”

颜之推的《颜氏家训》在借鉴前人家庭教育经验的基础上,结合自身的家庭教育实践,提出了立德为上、家教宜早、一视同仁、严慈相济、言传身教、重视环境等家庭教育思想。其中许多富于生命力的内容,直到今天仍值得我们学习和借鉴。

Yan Zhi-tui＇s Yan Domestic Instructions was based on domestic education experiences of the ancients and domestic education practice of his own. It considered moral education as the most important, advanced early domestic education, equal treatment, the methodology of integrating loving and stern, the principle of practicing what he preached, the thought of valuing environment. Lot＇s of the vital contents of domestic educational thought in the Yan Domestic Instructions up to the present are still worthy of our learning and instruction.
