湖南城市文化论

On City Culture in Hunan Province

城市既是人化自然的产物,又是人类文明进步的重要标志和物质载体。不同地域、不同历史文化背景下形成的城市具有不同的文化气质。湖湘文化源远流长,丰富多彩,湖南澧县城头山遗址被学术界公认为中国最早的"城",湖南这块神奇的土地孕育了独具特色的湖南城市。本文作者郑佳明教授是研究湖南城市文化第一人,他从城市地理生态文化、城市规划建筑文化、城市政治文化、城市精神文化、城市经济文化、城市社会空间文化六个层面系统解读了湖南城市文化。本刊从2014年第1期开始特设"湘城论道"专栏,以飨读者。

City or town is both humanism nature product and the important label and the material carrier of the human civilization progress. Every city or town is of the different spirit of culture and nature, different background of different history. The Huxiang （Hunan） culture is of a long history with colorful mosaic. The Chengtoushan ruins in Lixian County Hunan Province are regarded as the earliest city in China, which had bred the unique Hunan city. The author of this paper Prof. Zheng Jia-ming is the first person who studied the Hunan city culture. He explored the Hunan city culture concluded the six aspects as followings： the town geographic ecology, planning architecture culture, city political culture, urban spirit culture; urban economic culture and urban social space culture. This journal will open the special column from No. 1 of 2014 to meet the needs of the readers.
