18世纪潮汕地区的人口、土地和粮食问题

On the Problems of Population,Land and Food in Chaoshan Areas in 18^(th) Century

利用地方志书资料,对18世纪潮汕地区的人口增长、土地开发利用情况和粮食短缺问题进行分析,发现18世纪是潮汕地区区域历史上一个重要的时段,因为社会环境和平安定,本地人口快速增长,土地资源和粮食短缺的问题呈现,其他社会变化随之产生,最终导致了潮汕区域社会的转型。

Based on data from local chronicles, this paper made an analysis of the problems in popula-tion growth, land exploitation and food shortage in Chaoshan areas in the 18 Century and found out that this century was an important historical phase of the area. The emergence of such problems caused other social changes and eventually led to the transformation of the society.
