An Analysis on Lan Dingyuan's Political Thoughts

蓝鼎元是清初一位著名的理学思想家、学者,其政治思想主要包括民本思想、风俗观、为官治民之道等内容。他的政治思想集中体现了其思想特点,虽有明显的局限性,但现实针对性强,反映了清前期历史发展的要求,对后人治国理政也有积极的借鉴意义。

Lan Dingyuan was a famous Neo-Confucianist scholar in early Qing Dynasty. His political thoughts included：the basic thoughts that the people are the foundation of the country, the view on customs, the way of the officials governing the people etc. Though his political thoughts were obviously limited but target-ed in reality, they reflected the historical development of the early Qing Dynasty, and they have a positive refer-ence for future generations to govern the country.
