随着越来越多的国际友人来到中国,双语公示语的重要作用开始日渐显现出来。但是英语公示语翻译却不尽如意。错译、乱译、死译等现象比比皆是。指出公示语汉英翻译中存在的一些常见错误,提出解决方法,归纳公示语的翻译技巧,并以实际例子加以说明,目的在于更准确更标准地翻译公示语。

With more and more international friends came to China,bilingnal public signs become increasingly im- portant. But English public language translation is not satisfied. This paper focuses on the Chinese-English transla- tion of public signs. Based on the examples, it analysis the errors in translation and summarize the translation skills, in order to strengthen the function of public signs.
