An Interpretation of Chinglish from the Chaotic Perspective

摘要 中式英语是长期以来广受诟病的语言现象。从国别变体着手,从浑沌学视角对中式英语进行探讨,同时指出,中式英语的发展是内秉不稳定性和随机性的不可逆过程,语言工作者应该把作为语言的语言带向语言。 Chinglish is a controversial phenomenon for ages. This paper explores Chinglish from the perspective of chaology,beginning with a discussion of national variety. It also indicates that Chinglish is an irreversible process with randomness and instability, which requires language workers to speak about speech qua speech.
