摘要
接口问题在近些年的二语习得研究中引起了关注和争议。本文讨论二语接口的几个核心问题,包括接口概念的理论来源、接口的定义、分类及接口处的二语习得。文章详细分析了句法—语义、句法—形态、音系—形态、句法—语用等接口类型以及相关二语习得研究,认为内接口是发生映射或特征组装之处,外接口则是信息传递之处。虽然有研究表明句法—语用比其他接口给二语习得带来更多问题,但是还不足以证明整个接口的二语习得难易度。接口问题还有待进一步研究。
Interface has attracted considerable attention and raised controversies in recent L2 acquisition research. This article attempts to discuss the fundamental issues of L2 inteffaee studies, including their theoretical assumptions, interface definitions as well as classification, and L2 acquisition at the interfaces. Through an elaborate analysis of in- terface types involving syntax-semantics, syntax-morphology, phonology-morphology, syntax-pragmatics as well as rel- evant L2 acquisition studies, the author argues that internal interfaces are places where mapping or feature assembly occurs while external interfaces are places of information transmission. Although there are findings that some inter- faces such as syntax-pragmatics raise more problems in L2 acquisition than the others, they do not suffice to offer evi- dence for a degree of difficulty in L2 acquisition at the interfaces as a whole. To sum up, the issue of interface de- serves more elucidation.
