The Historical Value of Para-text in Modern Literature

副文本是现代文学重要的史料来源地之一,我们从中能直接或间接地发现史料。由于正文本更典型地体现着文学的本体特性,而副文本更偏于历史或实用的性质,所以副文本总体上更具史料价值,不过其史料价值具有等级差序。副文本提供的文学史料对现代文学研究和文学史建构等皆有正面的意义,当然也有遮蔽视野和真相的负面效应。

Para-text, from which we can directly or indirectly discover some historical materials, is an important historical source of modern literature. As the Main Text more typically embodies the literature characteristics while the Para - text tends to imply historical or practical nature, thus in general, Para-text has more historical value which is a level difference sequence. The historical materials provided by Para-text have some positive meanings to the study of modern literature and the construction of literature history, while it certainly has a few negative effects such as obscured vision and some truth.
