长期以来 ,大学英语教学受到教学手段和教学设备的限制 ,许多薄弱环节无法得到根本的改变。信息技术 ,特别是多媒体技术 ,为大学英语改革的突破带来新的机遇。应深入进行多媒体教学研究 ,对传统的教学模式和教学方法进行改革 。

For a long time,it has been difficult in conquering bottleneck of the teaching of College English due to the limit of teaching approaches and teaching facilities. Information technology, especially multi-media techology,provides a chance to make a break through in the reform of the teaching of College English. It is necessary to study comprehensively the teaching with multi-media technology and make a reform of traditional teaching model and teaching approaches so as to promote the modernization of College English education.
