《西方经济学原理》与西方经济学各个流派理论的关系是:前者是从后者中筛选、提炼和概括出来并为后者所接受的系统的经济理论体系;《西方经济学原理》把资本主义制度作为给定的前提,研究既定的制度载体上经济运行问题:我国经济学界对西方经济学的批判陷入了两大误区。一是西方经济学的庸俗论,二是西方经济学对我国的不适用论。其实,西方经济学揭示了很多社会化大生产和市场经济运行的一般规律,对我国建立在社会化大生产基础上的社会主义市场经济的运行具有较大的适用性。
