摘要
５０年来，尤其是改革开放２０年来。中国工业的国际竞争力有了较大的增强，但从总体上讲与西方发达国家还存在较大差距。究其原因，主要是体制、机制、企业经营管理者和职工的素质、知识和技术创新、企业的资本规模等因素的制约。要尽快提高我国工业的国际竞争力水平，就必须进行制度、体制、机制创新，通过市场竞争培育、选拔高素质的企业经营者，鼓励企业进行技术改造、知识和技术创新、建立集团公司以扩大资本规模。
China's competitive ability in industry has increased a lot since 1949 especially 1978. Yet in general there is large distance comparing with developed countries. The reasons mainly lie in system mechanism, the quality of manager and worker, innovation of knowledge and technology, scale of enterprises. So the government and enterprises should supply the mechanism to ensure the formation of managers, concentrate attention on building enterprise groups, add more input to R&D, have an insight into the tendency of industrial development.
