摘要
美国哲学家安靖如的政治哲学"进步儒学",基于"有本的全球哲学"观念,在"伦理—礼—法"或"德性—礼—政治"的模式中凸显礼的重大意义,以联接儒家传统和现代价值,是富于创造性的。然而,"有本的全球哲学"的思想方法毕竟属于传统形而上学的"本—末"、"体—用"、"形上—形下"的思维方式,礼是沟通形上之"本"与形下之"末"的中介,尽管探及儒学之"本",但未溯及儒学之"源"。此外,他关于生活儒学先有对现象学的信奉、并以此为基础来综合改造儒学的判断也是不符合实际情况的。
American philosopher Stephen Angle' s "Progressive Confucianism" as a political philosophy displays great creativity, since it is based on his idea of "Rooted Global Philosophy" and gives promi- nence to ritual in the shape of "ethics-ritual -law" or "virtue-ritual-politics" through which modem values join up with Confucian traditions. However, the thoughtway of "Rooted Global Philosophy" be-longs to the mode of thinking of "Root - Branches" ( 本-末), "Body - Function" ( 体-用 ) and "Met-aphysical - Physical ( or post - metaphysical)" in traditional metaphysics, in which ritual is the mediate between metaphysical Root and post- metaphysical branches, and which has not traced to the "Source" of Confucianism despite of the "Root" of that. In addition, it is not a judgment conforming to the actual situation that Life Confucianism has previously commitment to phenomenology with which Confucianism is synthesized and transformed.
