Combining with the specific project example, this paper simply introduced the selection of excavation methods of soft surrounding rock large span tunnel, and introduced in detail the construction process of pipe shed, initial support, inverted arch, secondary lining concrete, point- ed out the three steps excavation method achieved good construction effect.
