According to some problems in the engineering cost audit, including the twin-contract clauses, insufficient correction for the as-built drawing, the chaotic management of changes and certification, and the intermingled auditing personnel, the paper points out the optimization sug- gestions, and points out the engineering cost audit should strengthen the transparent contract, enhance the change and certification management and improve the auditing.
