Australia is expected to implement the basic education national curriculum from 2013 in the round, this is the first time in Australian history. The curriculum development process involves four interrelated phases： curriculum shaping; curriculum writing; preparation for implementation; curriculum monitoring, evaluation and review. The new curriculum reform of Australia conforms to the global trend. It takes ＂integration into the global, the pursuit of excellence＂ as the goal, aiming at cultivating excellent talents with international competitiveness and understanding.
