Identification of Teacher's Ecological Role in College English Classroom

基于教育生态学理论,大学英语课堂教学是一个具有平等性、和谐性及开放性特征的微型生态系统。教师、学生和课堂环境是课堂教学生态系统中三个重要的生态因子。只有这三个生态因子相互之间形成动态平衡,才能优化大学英语课堂教学。因此,本文就大学英语课堂教学中教师角色进行研究,探讨大学英语教师的生态角色定位,以便创建生态化大学英语课堂,实现大学英语教学的可持续发展。

Based on the Educational Ecology Theory, college English classroom is a microecological environment with the characteristic of equality, harmony and openness. Teachers, students and the classroom environment are the three prominent ecological factors. It is only after these three ecological factors have formed a kind of dynamic balance that college English classroom teaching can be opti mized. Therefore, this article will conduct a study on teachers＇ role in college English classroom teach ing, exploring the ecological roles of college English teachers so as to create ecological classroom and achieve sustainable development in college English teaching.
