Three Basic Issues of Reflective Philosophy of Social Engineering

社会工程哲学研究有两个主要视角:一个是以"工程"为核心范畴去阐发社会工程哲学,可称为规范性社会工程哲学;另一个是以"社会"为核心范畴来探讨社会工程哲学,可叫做反思性社会工程哲学。对于反思性社会工程哲学而言,它有三个基本问题需要研究,即社会工程的本体预设、社会工程的认识基础和社会工程的价值维度。对这三个问题的研究有助于去解决社会工程的根源性和基础性问题。反思性社会工程哲学体现了辨证理性的实践自觉,对于超越工具合理性具有至关重要的意义。

Philosophy of social engineering could be divided into two camps： one could be called normative philosophy of social engineering, which is based on the key conception of ＇engineering＇; another could be called reflective philosophy of social engineering, which is based on the key conception of ＇society＇. According to reflective philosophy of social engineering, there are three basic issues needed further exploration： the first issue is the ontological presumption of social engineering, the second is the epistemological foundation of social engineering, the third is the value dimension of social engineering. The origin and fundamental issues of social engineering could be tackled by the above three issues. The reflective philosophy of social engineering embodies the practical awareness of dialectical reason, and transcends the instrumental rationality.
