项目属于生物医学领域,肿瘤学及病理学研究范畴。利用多种恶性肿瘤组织的大样本和动物模型进行研究,阐述了血管生成拟态的临床意义,率先提出肿瘤血管生成过程的三阶段现象,同时取得若干创新成果。研究过程中建立的技术方法和研究成果已在全国大学和医院广泛推广应用。

The project involved in this paper belongs to the category of oncological and pathological research and the field of biological medicine. The clinical significance of vasculogenic mimicry was described by large sample observa- tions on various malignant tumor tissues and animal models. For the first time, a ＂Three Stages＂ phenomenon of tumor angiogenesis was presented. New innovation achievements were also obtained. Nowadays, new methods and achieve- ments in the project have been widely applied in universities and colleges and hosoitals in the nation.
