Comparison of factor analysis and multidimensional scaling for construct validation

摘要 通过阐述探索性因素分析(EFA)和验证性因素分析(CFA)对心理测验结构效度的检验原理,再使用多维尺度分析技术对韦氏简明智力量表(WASI)和广泛性智力测验(WRIT)两个智力量表共8个智力维度进行结构效度检验。试图提出在检验心理测验的结构效度以及测验结构的相容性时,可以采取3步法:使用探索性因子分析技术检验因素效度;使用验证性因子分析检验各因素之间的结构效度;使用多维尺度分析检验各因素之间多维空间中的立体结构效度。 Based on the theory and the result of exploratory factor analysis and confirmatory factor anal- ysis, multidimensional scaling tests the construct validation of eight dimensions of WASI and WRIT. This article attempts to present a view that is it should have three steps :Testing the construct validation and consistency;After testing factorial validity by exploratory factor analysis and confirmatory factor a- nalysis;We use multidimensional scaling in multidimensional space.
