摘要
《无间道》是2002年香港出品的一部警匪电影,《无间行者》是2006年好莱坞根据香港电影改编的一部电影,不仅在全球市场上票房走高,而且获得多项奥斯卡奖。为什么一个不同文化背景的故事被翻拍后不仅在美国在全世界都能够被接受,还获得巨大成功?其成功的原因很大程度在于电影透明叙事方式的运用。透明叙事理论是美国评论家斯科特·奥尔森提出的一种电影叙事方法,目的是要让不同文化背景的人能也能看的懂,引发共鸣。比较两部电影,可以发现《无间行者》在三种叙事机制方面:背景、角色、话题采用了透明叙事策略。而这种透明性是多元文化主义面具下美国文化意识的一种展现。
The Departed is a movie produced by Hollywood in 2006, which is remade from Infernal Affairs, a Hongkong gangster film in 2002. The Departed, not only succeeded in global market, but also won several academy awards. How can a different cultural background story be accepted by America and even all over the world? It mostly lies on the usage of transparent narration theory. This theory is a movie telling method proposed by American critic Scot Olson, aiming to make people of different cultures understand and resonate the same movie. On comparing these two movies, three setups that contain the strategy can be found, namely background, character, theme. And transparency is an exhibition of American culture ideology under the mask of multieulturalism.
