The synthesis of aromatic macrocyclic ether ketone oligomers is developed to meet the challenge of the advanced composites used in modem astronavigation, aviation, electronics and mechanics. The research progress on synthesis of aromatic macrocyclic ether ketone oligomers was reviewed. The advantages of the two preparation methods were also analyzed.
