According to the research about the failure modes of drilling bit with spherical tooth of the cemented carbide at the domestic and overseas that abrasive wear, thermal fatigue, peeling, internal cracks and solid tooth fracture, shear fracture, surface crack et al seven failure modes in the drilling process as well as corresponding solutions were introduced. This paper has guiding significance for the production quality control of the drilling steel and cemented carbide enterprise.
