The process of sustainable development is a one of continuouely meeting challenges. Human beings in the 21st century will meet the challenge of the confliet between man and land, the challenge of interest conflict to man's common objectives, the challenge of competition to fairness, the challenge of inbalance of development to the objective of regional balance, and the challenge of diversified double contradictions, and sudden change and disastrous change.
