进入21世纪的十几年,人类明显感觉到科学技术颠覆了以往的生活方式,信息技术统治着人类生活的方方面面,工业文明带给人类财富和物质享受的同时,也带来了日益严重的生态危机,由此引发"生态学马克思主义"越来越受到哲学界的热捧,詹姆斯·奥康纳就是其中的杰出代表。研究奥康纳"生态学马克思主义"对构建美好生态社会具有现实借鉴意义。
