James Joyce＇ s ＂Dubliners＂ presents individual and social spaces, as well as the landscapes. The three different levels of spaces are not only physical existence, as the embodi- ment of Dublin, but also spiritual entity which reveals the vapid and suffocating social reality of the city. Therefore the three spaces work together as a referential system, delineating a panorama of Dublin as the center of the paralysis successfully.
