Historical Evolution of Structural Causes of People's Livelihood in the New China:Empirical Analysis on Several Main Variables

从产业结构、城乡二元结构、所有制结构和分配结构等方面对民生问题的结构性成因进行历史性分析。在认识到结构性问题对民生福利的不利影响的前提下,考察改革开放以来结构性改革对民生福利改善所起到的积极作用,并对这一结论进行实证分析和验证,进一步得出结构性改革可以促进民生福利改善的结论,并指出深化市场经济体制改革是改善民生的必由之路。

This paper analyzes the history of structural casuses of people’s livelihood from industrial structure ,urban-rural dual structure ,ow nership structure and distribution structure .Considering the adverse effects on social welfare brought by structural problems ,this paper reviews and has empirical analysis on the positive effects on social welfare improvement the structural reforms have brought about since the reform and opening up .It concludes that structural reforms may improve social welfare .It points out that deepening the reform of market economic system is the essential route we must take to improve people’s livelihood .
