政治新闻语篇中情态责任的动机研究

A Study on Motivation of Modal Responsibility in Political News Discourse

与其他语篇相同,政治新闻话语也暗含着不同程度的情态责任。基于此,从功能语言学角度出发,通过分析语料的情态取向和量值,总结了说话者在不同情况下所承担的不同程度情态责任的实现方式及产生动机。研究发现,政治新闻中情态责任的动机有六种,分别是礼貌策略、自我保护、声明立场、社会地位、新闻的客观性与可信度以及讽刺宣传。

Like other discourses, the political news discourse also expresses modal responsibility in various degrees. This paper aims at finding out the realization and motivation of modal responsibility under different circumstances through the analysis of modal ori- entations and value of corpus from the perspective of functional grammar. It is found that six motivations, namely, polite strategy, self- protection, stance-declaration, social statues, objectivity and credibility of political news and propaganda by irony, are of the highest frequency in political news discourse.
