独立学院在通识教育视角下的大学英语改革

On College English Reform in Independent Colleges from the Perspective of General Education

自19世纪,帕卡德(A.S.Parkard)教授第一次将通识教育与大学教育联系起来后,通识教育的理念贯穿到了各个学科。本文以独立院校为样本,讨论现如今独立学院大学英语教学的现状,以及在通识教育视角下,各大独立院校应该如果做好大学英语教学课程的改革。

Since the first connection of general education and col-lege education made by Professor A. S. Parkard in the 19th cen-tury, the concept of general education has been infiltrated into every discipline. With independent college as the sample, this paper discusses the current situation of college English teaching in independent colleges, and how to carry out the reform of col-lege English teaching in independent colleges from the perspec-tive of general education.
