＂ Road-erossing of Chinese style＂ mirrors certain ethical scandal of some Chinese people in lower level of rule-abiding, life-worship and duty-consciousness. The ethical cause of sueh a scandal lies in traditional emphasis on personal morality instead of public manner, efficiency rationality of ＂ economic man＂ and psychological anxiety in the social-transformation period. The practical approaches to solving the problem include improvement and traffic facilities, legal supports, publicity of moralities, ethical education and improvement of the traffic-participants moral qualities.
