从目的论视角看张爱玲小说《金锁记》的英译

English Translation of The Golden Cangue by Eileen Chang——from the Perspective of Skopos Theory

目的论是翻译行为理论的一部分,由德国翻译目的学派的重要创始人汉斯·弗米尔(Hans Vermeer)提出。在英译小说《金锁记》中,张爱玲主要运用了直译的翻译方法,从语言(语音的翻译)和文化(意象的翻译)两个层面使得作品呈现出了一种特定的平衡,力求让目的语读者理解和接受,同时,又能感受到中国文化的特色。

The thesis based on the Hans Vermeer＇ s Skopos theory, analyzed the translation method of The Golden Cangue. It carried out a descriptive analysis of linguistic （phonetic translation） and cultural （image translation） as pects. The thesis concluded that Eileen Chang mainly used literal translation method, and it will be explained by Skopos Theory in the end of the thesis.
