理工科院校发展来华留学生教育策略探索

Educational Measures for Science and Engineering Universities to Develop International Students in China

当前,理工科院校发展来华留学生面临国际教育市场竞争激烈、国际认可度不高、课程国际化程度低等内外部不利因素,但同时理工科高校在此方面也具备一定的优势,包括传统理工学科优势、国际科技教育合作平台优势和与区域行业发展紧密结合优势等。理工科院校需要依托传统优势学科,设置面向留学生的品牌专业和精品课程;依托政府合作平台,紧抓发展机遇,提升实力,扩大影响;依托校际国际教育和科技合作平台,提升留学生培养层次;依托产学研结合平台,坚持"走出去战略",创新留学生培养模式。

This paper analyzes the external and internal adverse factors for science and engineering universities to develop international students in China,such as the hot market competition,the low recognition of Chinese higher education in fields of science and technology and the low level of curriculum internationalization,but the favorable factors like the advantages in traditional science and engineering education,the international cooperation platform and the integration with regional industry development are also elaborated.Thus the innovative training mode to develop international students is discussed in this paper,which includes the development of superior subject and excellent courses,the support of government platform and international cooperative platform,the inter-school collaboration and the production-teaching-research combination.
