The layout pattern of the Qin Dynasty Mausoleum of the Warring States Period on Xian- yang Hill shows that the co-burial of the queen with the emperor of the Qin Dynasty in the same garden but with different caves form approximately originated from the Gong Mausoleum of Qinhuiwenwang. No matter what results awaited the queens, they all joined in the same burial ground as their husband. Meanwhile, the concubines of the emperor of the Qin Dynasty were buried as an affiliation in the Qin Dynasty Mausoleum. This sort of co-burial of the emperor with his queens as well as the affiliated buri- al of the concubines was further inherited by the Han Dynasty.
