Jiaoshiyilin contains the rich information of economic history. It enables us to under- stand further that agriculture had been the large-scale farming which was in the center of cereal produc- tion and with sideline production such as animal husbandry, fabric performance, fishing and hunting for auxiliaries. The interpretation of agricultural history about Jiaoshiyilin not only enables us to under- stand agricultural economy of the Western Han Dynasty more distinctly, but also makes us understand the economic history values of Jiaoshiyilin more deeply.
