The contrast method between Russia and English is a new foreign language teaching mode, it is a way used by some colleges and universities according to the present situation of students who take Russia as second language elective course. Based on the analysis of feasibility and practicality about two languages＇contrast teaching of Russia and English, the article reveals the similarities and differences between Russia and English in phonetics, vocabulary and grammar, and enhance the pertinence of Russia teaching as elective course, eventually reach teachers＂instructive contrast transformation to students＇active contrast about what they learned.
