An Analysis of the CPC's Tactics for Bandit Problem During the Great Revolution

土匪自古有之,近代以来,随着中国社会政治、经济危机的加剧,土匪问题更是愈演愈烈,截至中共成立时期,中国已俨然成为"土匪王国"、"盗匪世界"。关于土匪问题,中国共产党在成立后和大革命时期,坚持用马克思主义的立场、观点分析处理问题,对中国兵匪互通的特殊国情、匪情保持清醒的认识,充分认识到土匪问题的严重性及其对国民革命的影响,号召并组织民众武装起来以抵御匪患,取得了良好的社会成效。

Bandits has been in existence since ancient times. In modern times,as China’ s social,political and eco-nomic crises intensified,the bandit problem has become worse than ever. China had been called “the kingdom of bandits” and “the world of bandits” by the time of the foundation of the CPC. Since its foundation and during the Great Revolution,the Party had been insisting on solving the bandit problem from the Marxist stand and viewpoint, thus having a clear understanding of the nature of bandit problem in China which was the collusion between soldiers and bandits. The Party also fully realized the seriousness of the bandit problem and its impact on the National Revo-lution and called on and organized the plebes to be armed to resist bandits,which achieved good social effect.
