On the Chinese Temples of the 10th Century in India

公元10世紀前後印度存在着一些"漢寺",這是以漢僧爲主,體現中國佛教及其文化特色的寺院。它們和中亞絲綢之路上其他漢寺一起,構成了當時中國佛教向西流動的場景。如此宗教現象不僅在印度佛教史上,而且在世界佛教史上都是不應該被忽視的。

In the 10th Century,there were some Chinese temples in India. These temples, with a great number of Chinese monks, showedobvious characteristics of Chinese Buddhism. IIt means that Indian Buddhism was affected by the Chinese Buddhism in this time,which should not be neglected in the history of Buddhism in Indian and even around the world.
