在综合分析西部农村地区群众体育参与人口特征的基础上,分析了西部农村地区群众体育开展实践中存在的问题、优势和劣势,进一步提出了提升西部农村地区群众体育开展实效性的途径,包括场地器材选择的针对性、体育人力资源和项目资源建设、发挥乡镇体育和返乡农民工的带动作用、健全社会保障制度等等。旨在从西部农村实际出发,推动西部农村群众体育健康发展。

Based on comprehensive analysis of mass sports participation population characteristics in the western rural areas, it analyzes the existing problems, advantages and disadvantages of the mass sports＇ development and practice, and further puts forward to improving the effectiveness of mass sports, including the pertinency location equipment selection, sports human re- sources and project resources construction, playing a leading role of village sports and returning migrant workers, improving the social security system, etc. It starts from the reality of the western rural areas, and aims at promoting the development of west- ern rural mass sports.
