摘要
十年来最大力度的一次国资改革启动在即,但对国资委来说,这像医生给自己开刀。
With over 400 employees and 18 departments the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission(SASAC) is responsible for managing an enormous amount of Stateowned assets. While this authority makes it one of China's most powerful commissions,it also makes it a common target of criticism.Since the Third Plenary Session of the 18th CPC Central Committee was held last November, the SASAC has yet to implement comprehensive reform of State-owned enterprises(SOE),a step that China's new leadership sees as extremely important when it comes to stimulating the economy. However, figuring out how these reforms should be implemented and to what extent is no easy task as the interests of numerous entities are involved. As such the SASAC and the Central Government will need to establish a new relationship and new processes that can deal with this issue in a suitable manner.
