“马胜利是个风云人物。风过去了，云过去了，也就完了。”为马胜利主持葬礼的阿訇说 马胜利没有活过大年初七。他活了76岁。那天一大早，马胜利的发小老金撂下电话，就匆忙赶往医院——老马不行了口从小一起玩大的交情，他要去送他最后一程。

On February 6 famed entrepreneur Ma Shengli passed away in his home in Shijiazhuang,Hebei Province at the age of 76.In accordance with Hui minority ethnic group tradition,three days after his passing a funeral was held at a local Mosque.The funeral was a quiet affair without a memorial or funeral committee and although the turnout was large,it mainly consisted of family members and close friends.Known for his entrepreneurial efforts,Ma was twice awarded with the National Labor Medal,has met with Deng Xiaoping and was given the nickname 'Contractor Ma' by Hu Yaobang himself.Although he has now passed,his story will continue to light the way for entrepreneurs,both present and future,for decades to come.
