从“罗刹”到“俄罗斯”——清初中俄两国的早期接触

From "Luocha"(“罗刹”) to "Eluosi"(“俄罗斯”):The Early Contact between China and Russia in the Early Period of Qing Dynasty

本文梳理了清初有关"罗刹"名称的各种记载,并在前人研究的基础上,通过考察早期中俄两国相互接触和交往的史实,对"罗刹"和"俄罗斯"名称来源做了详尽的考述。认为汉语"罗刹"即清初索伦土话loca的汉字音译,而索伦土话loca又来源于俄语的ловцы或ловчий(猎人);"俄罗斯"则来源于蒙古人对俄罗斯的称呼oros一词。

Based on a thorough review of all the historical records concerning the name of 'Luocha' during the early period of the Qing Dynasty,and a detailed research on the history of the early contact between China and Russia,the author presents a complete research on the origins of the two words 'Luocha' and 'Eluosi',concluding that the Chinese word 'Luocha' derived from Solon(索伦族)word 'Loca',which can trace its origin to the Russian words ловцы or ловчий meaning hunter,while the word 'Eluosi' came of the Mongolian word 'Oros' which was the name to call Russia.
