简论弹性分析理论的缺陷

A Brief Study on the Shortcomings of Elasticity Analysis Theory

弹性分析理论作为国际收支的重要理论之一 ,为许多发展中国家所看重 ,并用于指导本国制定外汇、外贸政策。但这一理论存在着重要缺陷 :一是该理论内容表述自身忽略了贬值会引起价格弹性的进一步变化和进口价格变化的影响 ;二是该理论忽视了国际分工合作可能带来的三种利益及其对一国经济发展和贸易收支的影响 ;三是该理论违背了自由贸易的精神及其利益 ,忽视了看不见的手的作用。

Elasticity analysis theory, one of the important theories for international income and outcome, is favored by many developing countries and is used to direct the making of foreign currency and foreign trade policies. However, there are serious shortcomings: (1) the statement in the theory neglects the change of price elasticity and import price caused by devaluation; (2) the theory neglects that international distribution and cooperation may bring about three kinds of profits and that it will effect a country's economic development and trade income; (3) it violates the spirit and benefit of free trade and neglects the effect of hand.
