摘要
文章研究了比较植物生态地理学的意义和内容,探讨了这门学科今后的发展方向和问题。特别指出雨型是植物地理区划的重要因素,以及如何通过地区比较找出潜在植被和潜在物种,对植物引种驯化与良种推广具有先导意义。
This paper discussed the significance and content of comparative phyto-ecol-geography, and the development and questions of this new subject. It especially indicated that （ 1 ） rainfall pattern played a very important role in phyto-geographical zoning; and （2） based upon the zoning and its comparisons, we could find out the potential vegetation and pot species among the regions of similar rainfall pattern. This work is a guide of plant intro- duction and domestication, as well as the popularization of improved variety. We will discuss these applications of the subject in another paper later.
