文化失调历史境遇下的公民道德建设

Civic Moral Building in the Historical Context of Cultural Maladjustment

近代以来,中国传统文化在西方文化的冲击下明显处于失调的状态。这种失调因为当代中国经济、社会转型的剧烈变动而更加严重。在重大的社会结构转换过程中出现的文化失调带来了各种各样的障碍、离轨、失控现象,尤其对公民道德建设构成严峻挑战。面对文化失调的历史境遇,公民道德建设必须在坚持以马克思主义为指导的前提下,一方面承接中国传统文化中的传统美德,摒弃其落后于时代的封建糟粕;另一方面与世界先进道德文化相贯通,转变观念形态,转换思维方式,转化行为模式,而又保持中国元素和本土特色,防止历史虚无主义和全盘西化。

From the onset of modern history, the Chinese traditional culture is characterized with maladjustment under the impact from Western culture. Such condition had deteriorated due to dramatic changes in contemporary economic and social transitions in China. The cultural maladjustment during major social restructuring has led to a variety of obstacles, abnormalities and uncontrollable issues, especially the challenges for civic moral building. In the face of historical context of cultural maladjustment, civic moral building must adhere to the premise of Marxism to inherit the virtues of traditional Chinese culture and discard its obsolete feudal elements. On the other hand, we should give access to the world＇s advanced moral and cultural traditions, change our concepts, way of thinking, and behavior patterns, while maintaining Chinese elements and indigenous characteristics.
