Haliotis diversicolor Reeve is a small abalone cultured in tropical and subtropical zone warm water, the development momentum of industrial intensive culture of which in Guangdong provincial coastal area is very drastic with the annual output exceeding 1600 tons. The paper analysed abalone culture model, existing problems and diseases epidemic trend, and put forward the prospects and direction for future development.
