摘要
"体物"者,身体和物象之简称,相当于皮尔士三元理论中的"象似",兼及"标指";也相当于中国古代的形气神三元说的"形",兼及"气"。失去象似和标指依托的象征是"无源之水"、"无本之末";失去"形"和"气"的"神"是"死神"。"体物"出自"草根",出自生动而富于变化的民众生活,因此也是社会文化人类学研究的最直接对象。
Res corporales is body and image in short, equivalent of iconicity and signification in Charles Peirce's triple-element theory and also correspondent with "form" and "energy" in ancient Chinese triple-element (form, energy and spirit) theory. Symbol void of image and signification as a support is meaningless; spirit with neither "form" nor "energy" is lifeless. Res corporales stems from grass root, lively and changeable people's life, thus becoming the direct subject of study for social and cultural anthropology.
