人口老龄化所带来的庞大的老年医护服务和养老服务需求已经成为全球每个国家所面临的巨大挑战。老年护理学作为护理专科之一,旨在研究及了解老年人的各方面需求,以提供有针对性的护理措施,维持及提升老年人的健康和生活质量。了解国外老年护理学的发展状况,可以为我国老年护理学的发展带来相应的启示。本文通过介绍国外老年护理学在实践、教育及研究方面的发展现状与发展趋势,旨在为我国老年护理学的发展提供参考。

As global population aging, every country in the world has faced with huge demands on geriatric care. As a specialty in nursing, gerontological nursing is to provide elderly with corresponding care based on careful needs assessment and to maintain and improve their quality of life. Understanding the history and developmental issues of gerontological nursing of other countries can help China well develop the specialty. This paper described developmental issues of gerontological nursing in foreign countries, and brought with some thoughts on the development of gerontological nursing in China.
