This paper introduces the concept , definition , application and value of Internet of Things .The sig-nificance of the technology of Internet of Things in the construction of modern libraries is analyzed as well as the function and meaning of Internet of Things of libraries .The emphasis is put on the networking technolo-gy, RFID technology, construction pattern, existing problem of Internet of Things.The prospect of the mod-ern library is discussed .
