Sanmen Bay is located in Eastern Zhejiang Province, abutting Xiangshan County, Ninghai County, and Sanmen County. It is adjacent to the Xiangshan Harbor in the north, and the Taizhou Bay in the South. Sanmen Bay is a natural harbor in Zhejiang with deep water, countless islands and a long coast. The climate in Sanmen Bay is temperate throughout the year, and the rainfall is plentiful. In terms of the area, it is the second largest bay behind Hangzhou Bay in Zhejiang. Sanmen Bay, connecting the coastal industrial zones in Hangzhou Bay, Wenzhou and Taizhou, has a strong potential for economic development.
