The paper introduces the functions of a enhanced block mode in the signaling system for urban rail transit, puts forward the demands of adding the functions of ATC in the enhanced block mode, and describes the operational principles of the enhanced block mod. It also gives a detailed introduction of the implementation scheme of newly-added functions of ATC system.
