翻译研究的语域分析模式

Register Analysis in Translation Studies

文章对系统功能语言学语域思想进行了评述,提出语域的两面性假设,认为语域分析应该既对语篇的语义进行分析,又要对语篇的情景语境进行分析。在此基础上,将语域分析的思想应用于翻译研究中,提出翻译研究的语域分析模式,其中起重要作用的是语域创建和语域重建两个重要概念和过程。

The paper makes a brief review of register analysis in SFL. On the understanding of the nature of regis- ter, it proposes a registerial duality hypothesis and thereby puts forward a new method of register analysis, that is, register analysis should include the semantic and the situational context analysis of text. At the same time, two im- portant concepts of register analysis, i.e. construction of register and reconstruction of register, are defined, and a triple model and its working process of register analysis in translation studies is proposed and described as well.
